About the Trip
Step into the pages of the Bible as you explore the sacred sites of Israel on this unforgettable 8-day journey.
From the shores of the Sea of Galilee to the ancient streets of Jerusalem, each day is carefully crafted to deepen your faith, enrich your understanding of Scripture, and leave you with lifelong memories.
Join Bernard & Belinda Mulder as we walk where Jesus walked and experience the spiritual adventure of a lifetime.

Day 1
We arrive at OR Tambo International Airport on the 19th of September at 18:00 for a short introduction and briefing before the flight.

We’ll spend the night in the air, resting as we fly—waking up to the excitement of descending into the magnificent land of Egypt.
Day 2
Arrival in Egypt: Arrive at Cairo International Airport and transfer to Taba.
We will check in at the resort featuring 218 rooms across two stories with elevator access. The resort offers a 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi in public areas, a tour desk, shops, a TV room, playroom, and library for your convenience and leisure. Guests can also make use of services such as luggage storage, a safe, currency exchange, ATM, room service, medical assistance, laundry, a hairdresser, shuttle, and both garage and open-air parking. The property is wheelchair accessible and also provides a business centre equipped with a fax machine and projector.


Day 3
From Taba, Egypt we cross into Israel and visit the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, famous for its 10x saltier waters that let you float effortlessly, its healing minerals, and its rich biblical history connected to Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot’s wife, King David, and Ezekiel’s prophecy of living waters.
We continue to Jericho, one of the world’s oldest cities, where the Bible records the fall of Jericho’s walls, Rahab’s faith, the healing of Blind Bartimaeus, and the story of Zacchaeus. The day concludes in Bethlehem, with check-in at Saint Elias 4★ Hotel, just 15–20 minutes from the Jerusalem markets and central to many biblical sites.
Day 4
We journey In Jerusalem we visit the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, symbolising the fulfillment of biblical prophecy and God’s promises to His people.
We then explore Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Pool of Siloam, marvels of ancient engineering and the place where Jesus healed the blind man.
Free time will be enjoyed in the Old City Bazaar, with its vibrant markets and centuries of history. The day concludes at the Western Wall, the most sacred place of prayer in Judaism, where people from all nations come to connect with God.


Day 5
Our morning begins in Bethlehem with visits to the sacred Church of the Nativity and the tranquil Shepherds’ Fields, where the angels announced the birth of Jesus.
After time for shopping and lunch, we journey to Jerusalem to explore the Mount of Olives, walk down the historic Palm Sunday Road, and reflect at Dominus Flevit, overlooking the city.
We then spend time in prayer at the Garden of Gethsemane, and conclude the day at St. Peter in Gallicantu, the site traditionally believed to be where Peter denied Jesus.
Day 6
Today, we delve into modern Jerusalem, We visit the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the paralyzed man, a powerful reminder of His mercy and miracles.
We then walk the Via Dolorosa, tracing the path of Christ’s suffering to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, before reflecting at the peaceful Garden Tomb, a symbol of the resurrection and eternal hope.

Our journey continues to Ancient Shiloh, the first resting place of the Ark of the Covenant and where Hannah prayed for Samuel. The day concludes with check-in at the King Solomon Tiberias 4★ Hotel, overlooking the Sea of Galilee with breathtaking views and excellent hospitality.


Day 7
We begin the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, retracing the waters where Jesus walked, calmed the storm, called His disciples, and performed miracles.
Afterward, we enjoy a traditional St. Peter’s fish lunch on the shore. Our journey continues to the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mount, before visiting Capernaum, known as “Jesus’ own town” and the setting for many of His teachings and miracles.
We then travel to the Jordan River, the sacred waters where Jesus was baptised, the Israelites crossed into the Promised Land, and Naaman was healed—an unforgettable place to reflect on faith and renewal.
Day 8
After check-out at the King Solomon Tiberias 4★ Hotel, we travel to the Valley of Elah, the historic battlefield where David defeated Goliath, a place that reminds us of God’s power and victory through faith.
We continue to Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus, where the angel Gabriel announced His birth, and where He grew up and began His ministry. The day concludes with check-in at the Ecotel Dahab Bay View Resort, a beautiful seaside hotel offering excellent facilities and a relaxing stay in Dahab, Egypt.


Day 9
After check-out from the Ecotel Dahab Bay View Resort, we head to Cairo for a full-day adventure with Kemet Tours.
The journey begins at the Giza Plateau, where we explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre’s Pyramid, and the iconic Great Sphinx. After marvelling at these ancient wonders, we enjoy an ATV ride and a camel ride in the desert, followed by time for shopping and souvenirs.
The day ends with a magical Nile River dinner cruise, complete with an open buffet, live entertainment, and traditional dance, before returning to the hotel. After the day's activities we check out from the hotel and depart from Cairo International Airport to South Africa.
